Tips for Making Caprese Pasta Salad
This pasta salad is best made with fresh, in-season tomatoes. If you can’t find heirloom tomatoes, use any variety of ripe tomatoes that you can find.
To save time, you can buy pre-cut mozzarella cheese. Or, you can cut your own into small pieces.
If you’re short on time, you can use jarred basil pesto in place of the fresh basil leaves. Just add a few tablespoons to taste.
This pasta salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to a day. Just be sure to bring it back to room temperature before serving.
